The Barrelborn Issuance Standard
Every Barrelborn stave is cut, finished, and prepared with intention.
No two are identical. Each carries the marks of the barrel it came from—and the standard we hold.
Because of this, Barrelborn does not operate like conventional retail.
We do not mass-produce.
We do not warehouse sameness.
And we do not participate in casual ownership.
On Acceptance of Your Stave
When your stave arrives, you are expected to inspect it upon receipt.
Natural variations in grain, tone, char, and edge are not defects—
they are proof of origin.
These are not grounds for return.
Eligible Returns (Limited Cases Only)
We will honor a return or replacement only under the following conditions:
- The item arrives physically damaged in transit
- The incorrect item was issued
- A structural defect compromises the integrity of the stave
Requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.
All requests are reviewed individually.
Return Authorization Required
No item will be accepted without prior approval.

Include:
- Order number
- Clear photos of the issue
- Brief description
If approved, instructions will be issued.
Condition of Returned Items
Approved returns must be:
- Unused
- Unaltered
- In original packaging
Any item that has been:
- Oiled
- Modified
- Scent-altered
- Or used in any capacity
will not be accepted.
Refunds
If a return is approved and received:
- A refund will be issued to the original payment method
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable
- Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the error is ours
Exchanges
We do not offer open exchanges.
If approved, a replacement will be issued at our discretion.
Final Sale Items
Limited releases, special editions, and Order-issued pieces are final sale.
No exceptions.

If we make a mistake, we correct it.
If the stave meets our standard, we expect it to meet yours.

Barrelborn is not built for mass appeal.
It is built for those who understand what they are holding.
